you know that this isn't X, right? you don't have to include the title of the article in the post. we have a fancy feature called link preview...

okay, but why? all major operating systems allow to dock two windows side by side, so I never had any trouble displaying two or more pages at a time. what is the advantage of having this in one window?

seems to me like I would have to learn another layer of interactions without any value...

Just tar it with an already set execute bit before shipping and the Linux instructions will just be "extract, then run it" just like on the other platforms

I don't think that people suddenly used larger mouse pads after upgrading to 4k... at least on Linux I can switch between full hd and 4k and the distance I have to move my hand to get across the screen stays about the same.

I mean what you would want to know is the users intent. if they cannot see the movement, it is unlikely that it was performed with intent.

ultimately I would do the same as everyone else though. just try out a few values and stick with what feels good to you

everyone here seems to talk about a threshold measured in pixels... shouldn't that be a physical unit instead? at least scale it with screen resolution... 3px on 4k is not a lot of movement

Same here 😅 Especially if you already have a vision in mind for some part of the game it is so tempting to start there to see the vision come to life...

But in prototyping you have to focus on the parts that you are _the_least_ certain about to see whether you can make them work!
