Congresspeople and certainly the members of the Trump regime can afford to pay for their own healthcare. Most of the people this will affect can’t.

I would go a bit further. With the ever increasing impact of climate change, all insurance companies should be non profit. As a society, we can not afford to have companies profiteering on disaster and misfortune. Insurance should be a safety net.

That is why we need to focus on electing quality people to local and statewide offices. Act local, think global. Bottom up not top down.
