Yeah, there's a reason so many places have minimums or charge a pretty penny for low quantities.

There isn't much to learn in Photoshop or illustrator to make it work for this application. I can give you a hand setting up the hotkeys and the likes if you want.

I put all the artwork into photoshop first to create a solid black layer in the shape of the artwork then use the silhouette trace in illustrator to make the outline. I've got a hotkey to create the appropriate offsets after that.
