And with compensation

And the oil companies were paid compensation, determined by an independent tribunal, for the nationalised assets.

Are these tankers carrying fentanyl?

Labour costs make a big difference, don’t they?
December 4, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Yes, but will the disclosure be only scope 1 and 2 emissions (as per the existing NGER Act), or will they have to disclose the emissions that will occur when others combust their coal and gas (scope 3 emissions)? Albanese never counts that in his “Net Zero” plan.

… while his sons are betting SCOTUS will tear down the tariffs. It’s in their interest that he convinces people the tariffs will stay.

Great idea to build a data centre in a desert with average temps above 35C for half the year. Imagine the cooling load.

Stamp duty is a CGT cost base item for investors. Deductible only for traders.

You either allow negative gearing, or you don’t. If you allow it on only one, people will aim to gear the biggest most expensive house, rather than building and renting out affordable homes.

Yes, revert the CGT to an indexed cost base.

Distribution costs are not per capita. They vary hugely by density. Compare Citipower and Ergon, for example.

Obviously you haven’t read the Integrated System Plan. Or you’re ignoring it.

Um, why would you have to repay investments not yet made?

Someone’s using phony excuses to push their numbers up.

Not written by Trump. He doesn’t feel any need to excuse or justify his phony numbers.

In some areas of Australia, the condensation running off solar panels is turning arid borderline desert land into grassland for grazing.

I’m an amateur, so take it with a grain of salt. We see all 3 species: rusa, sambar and fallow, running in groups together across our wooded (eucalyptus and wattle) mountain terrain (1000-1350m) east of KNP. We have started seeing very dark young deer, but with the pattern markings of fallow deer.
