I never really intended on using this place full time unless Twitter fully shits the bed and becomes unusable

there's just too much wrong and missing here for me to take it seriously

the problem with here is it tends to be even more of an echo chamber than Twitter can be due to its nature

for Twitter, I just block nazis and bigots on sight without a second thought and the timeline naturally heals

tbf only approximately 1mil of the total usercount here is even active

most people who "fled" Twitter ended up going back

it's getting it one way or another with how the data is sold off unfortunately

the only way to fix that would be to make this place invite only and walled gardened again

but then again AI Browsers let you scrape an entire page manually now, bypassing that

lack of features here I mean

at least on the data scraping part, you realize there's no protections here for that right?

but the rest I entirely understand

personally for me it's the lack of features

this website has the opposite problem of being equivalent to Tumblr at its height in terms of toxicity and tends to be even more of an echo chamber than Twitter

hell, if you criticize the spineless democrats in front of a staff member here your profile gets flagged as rude

tbf this place isn't that much better and is still lacking a ton of features

plus this place's owner endorsed doxxing trans people

this place just feels so lacking but i can't exactly put my finger on what

i get it has less algorithm to reduce addiction but it really feels like I barely have a reason to even use this app at all
