All that happens if you pass their test is "you're not like the other girls". He isnt going to suddenly realise women are people.

Not to me or anyone who matters to me. He can look down on me for not knowing stuff all he wants it is a stupid way to live and he is missing out on nice things by not engaging positively with me in the first place.

I guess they have waived their right to have a fun chat so he is not entitled to my attention. I would rather just dismiss em at that point. But irritating them is even more tempting

Nah because the person who doesnt know their stupid rules is still allowed to like the thing so I will not give them the satisfaction of "allowing" me into the club by passing their tests. It simply validates their entitlement to demand other people meet their standard.

Cause they are gatekeepy fucks and nobody should have to prove themselves worthy in order to like something so people like that a) don't deserve to have their stupid demands met and b) dont deserve to have you care what they think of you.

One good thing about living Over There is savings. No DIRT rate, an allowance of up to £1000 before you pay tax on it at all, tax is charged at your marginal income tax rate and you can add up to 20k a year to tax free savings accounts.
