Started watching this. Not seen it since a young lad. The memory does cheat a bit.

The first episode is a bumper 75 minutes, covering Logan and Jessica's escape, finding a hovercraft type vehicle in the ruins of Washington, an encounter with some human survivors in an underground bunker, another

August always feels a slightly melancholic time of year in the allotment. Everything is speeding up to reach harvest, as if its time is running out (which it is).

I am selling these two records. Both are first presses and are a decent VG+ state.
They have an interesting history which explains why they probably have never been played.
Before they go to the dreaded ebay or discogs, if anyone is interested let me know.

If you ever found yourself with your parents on a summers trip to a wet and cold Blackpool in the mid 70s to mid 80s, chances are you might have found your way to the Doctor Who Exhibtion there.

Blackpool Remembered is a beautifully made book recalling those great days. Highly recommended.

It's very good to have Stereolab back with a album. There is a track called Immortal Hands on it which is just gorgeous.

Sad news about Joe Don Baker. He was always great to watch - in Edge of Darkness he was stellar.

And so twenty years ago at the mid-point of series 1 of the revived Doctor Who, Dalek arrived.

I can't quite believe Christopher Walken is 82 today. Where did the time go? I love him in The Dead Zone - what a superb film.
