damn laying out a 24pp comic keeping it didactic but still somewhat formally demanding for the reader was a tough nut to crack but i think i got it. the editor liked it!

of the CINEMA WORKS series i'm also v fond of this one CINEMA 3 SPOILERS (the whole idea of this series was to look into expanded cinema in book form)

had a lot of fun doing this one, it's a pity it's never been shown (it's a circular book, it'd have to be spread out and hung as a suspended circle of panels, in a warehouse or whatever).

now on BC a live extended version of "Your Tits". Back in 2018 i wrote a version of the studio solo piece backed by another guitar, percussion, modular synth, and trombone.

nobody:
me: ok we rly have to address the elephant in the room, philosophy books have a serious (lack of) illustration problem; we shld learn from philosophy of biology books, the latest example being Anna Zeligowski's for Jablonka & Ginsburg's "Evolution of the Sensitive Soul"

can't be convinced to not see Longlegs under a Trans-Paideia lens - in the sense of a story about the pedagogy of self-determination.
Delicious uncanny dialectic between dead-name/dead-family - and Longlegs as the pivot psychotic motor in this logic between destruction and emancipation. 1/10
