Duvalie and Judith. They fulfill a similar role in the dynamic but do it so differently and I think it would be fun to watch.

I mean I’ve made those jokes too haha. There is a certain subsection of capital G Gamer out there that really thinks they are on to something though. I’m just a lower case g gamer.

I can’t quite put it into words but this seems to stem from a larger prevailing attitude not unlike main character syndrome. Like “I can only like X if X is the best thing because I’m the best thing”. But I can’t fully articulate this though atm.

I guess it’s hard to judge sincerity on the internet but I’ve seen enough people say it in a way that doesn’t scream troll that it seems to be a somewhat widespread thought. It’s weird times.

I am glad it reintroduced the genre to people and maybe repopularized it to some extent. It didn’t need “fixing” though.

But 3 is just objectively true. You get it.
