Hello, this is my art posting account, but I will probably not post on it very often
I'm probably playing old video games instead
This is inside the back cover, it's my 'From the Author' page and the only one not really based off of an old comic book. I put an extra box in the bottom right because I was so sure I would think of something clever. (The panel mentioned in the special thanks: bsky.app/profile/sixg...) 11/12

And here's the final actual comic page. Imagine flipping from the previous page to this one for maximum effect. 10/12

We're near the end now. This is the first page of a 2-part story, and it definitely uses the fact that you flip the page to the next one as something of a punchline or payoff, so keep that in mind when I post tomorrows. 9/12

Another good way to fill out the book, dress-up pages. In old comics the outfits were suggested by actual readers, and it would put their complete address if they gave it- feels crazy in retrospect but I guess you would hope people would mail you a letter rather than show up at your house. 8/12

They gotta fill out this middle of these books, so that's where they put the single-page stories. (Fun fact: This was the first page I drew of this comic.) 7/12

It wouldn't be an old comic book without one of these ads! Well, something like this, anyways. 6/12

And that's the end of this story. It's kind of in the vein of Archie, where there's a few little self-contained stories, not one story that goes through the whole issue. 5/12

The story continues... 4/12

And here's the opening of our first Edie comic, on the first page you see inside the cover when you open the book. It would have been nice to color this, but I never got around to it. Maybe someday. 3/12

Here's the next page, this is the inside of the front cover. In addition to drawing just comics of Edie and Stacy, I also wanted to make a zine that feels like an old comic book. As such, the inside of the cover has an ad on it, since that's how they usually were set up!

Here's my comic I made for AFC this year, it's "My Pal Edie"! I printed a bunch of actual mini books but now I'm sharing it online. I put an icon in the bottom of these pics so you can pretend it's an actual book, since I did think a lot about the page order. I'll be posting 1 page a day. 1/12

if you see this, quote with a robot that isn't from "Star Wars", "Star Trek", "Dr. Who", or "Transformers."

#makeaterriblecomicday2025 I think this ended up not terrible, but then maybe that's the point... 🤔

Another picture of this guy looking sullen and sitting on the ground, this time using cool ink

The rest of the pages. A lot of people had trouble reading SCUD's name properly, but seemingly no problems with Death's Head, despite using the same weird 'D', funnily enough. Pages 5-8 out of 8.

Mini-zine number 5 from FWA last weekend. For the first time, it's not just a bunch of suggestions (although a couple suggestions sneaked their way in there). This one's about my favorite robots. Pages 1-4 out of 8.

Not sure I should have kept the numbering at #4 or counted this as different 'series' from my other mini-zines. You (might) also notice I downgraded from (probably) to (might) not know about in the title. And if you're reading this, go watch Speed Racer, seriously. Pages 5-8 of 8.

My fourth (and currently most recent) mini-zine I made. Made this one for FC earlier this year, and it's about movies instead of arcade games so the picks aren't as obscure. Not putting my high scores in let me make some larger drawings, which was fun. Pages 1-4 out of 8.

Here's pages 5-8. Fun fact about Strike Force is that it's a spiritual successor to Defender in the same way Smash TV is to Robotron 2084. Definitely nowhere near as well known, although that's probably deserved. It's nowhere near as easy to just pick up and play.

Here's the third mini-zine and the last one about arcade games (for now). Pages 1-4 out of 8.

Here's pages 5-8 of 8. I didn't actually put a lot of time into Aqua Rush, but one of the people I introduced it to went on to get the top score on the speedrun.com 1000m leader board and beat the top score registered on the games' websight that you can find on the wayback machine

Here's the the second mini-zine I made for the second convention I went to. Pages 1-4 of 8.
