I’ll chat you offline, but I’m really surprised we disagree on this candidate.

We know his platform (very good), we know his past (blemished), we know the tattoo (a super bad thing).

We also know Maine voters and, idk if you have, but I had convos with the guy before he ran. He’s sincere.

I disagree, it does matter who put it out there. It also matters what his platform is and how authentic his personal change is.

I’m not excusing the tattoo, but I do think it’s important to see someone as they are now and, if vying to be elected, what they will fight for moving forward.

I would ask: do you know Maine voters?

As a Mainer, I can say this is a land of 2nd chances. People like authenticity, rough edges, and working hard to become better.

Then ask: who is putting this info out there and why?

The answer is establishment Dems afraid of the change he represents

We’re two weeks out from the election. Jeffries endorsing him at this point doesn’t tip the needle at all.

I agree, we will win, but it has nothing to do with politicians like Jeffries coming around at the last minute. It has everything to do with a mass ground game.
