The LADWP Commissioners approved a major water recycling & groundwater replenishment expansion. They stated that this will enable them to pause Mono Lake water diversions and allow the lake to rise to the healthy 6,392-foot elevation level—and make good on Los Angeles’s commitment to Mono Lake.

Tell the Assembly members to remove SB 131’s exemption for “advanced manufacturing” facilities exemption which will expose residents to impacts from toxic industrial projects and to amend SB 131’s definition of “natural and protected lands” to include habitat for sensitive species.
