So, I used to do emp contracts for high end employees. One of the “for cause” terminable offenses was more than criminal activity—it was action that put the company in a bad light. They paid these guys a lot and they were deadly serious. And not lefties!

I love my pumpkin pie—and other people do too! But I’ve made a good sweet potato pie and it’s time to do it again! Homemade crust is absolutely nonnegotiable in either case.

If I were on British Bake Off, I would be told that my lamination was poor, they didn’t rise properly, and they are STODGY. Not bad for a first try at lamination, though.

I was lucky to have seen the all-male version at The Globe in 2002. Mark Rylance was Olivia. Kinda weird, but so much fun!

I live on the Mississippi Coast and the cost of real estate is shocking, considering that this should be one of the cheapest states. Not to mention coastal insurance costs.
