It's all good and well if Starmer is forced out, but the replacement(s) is(are) not exactly a positive alternative for many. It'll still be the same old players involved. It'll still be the same old problems, and if an election is called, its likely the alternative would be much worse.

Chronic illness sucks. Hate trying to do stuff only to drift off asleep for hours at a moments notice.

Hey everyone, little update:
Been quiet again but still here. Just been dealing with a bit of a relapse with my ME which has left me with very little energy and has pretty much restricted my ability to do too much. Getting over it slowly but might be a bit quiet on socials for now.

I must say I'm not impressed with this snow. Lasted about 10 minutes. Still around -2c after last night's -7c mind.

Getting some movement back today. Still sore, but am doing some gentle exercise to keep the pain from being overwhelming.

New years out the way, decorations are down, so back to resting my bad back. It's better than yesterday but the odd twinge is still causing a bit of pain.

Back is a little better today (insofar as I can actually bend down to pick things up without having a shooting pain) but the holidays have finally caught up with me.
Still, started my health kick for 2026. Looking to get down to around 90kg by the end of the year.

Had a mixed day today. Started off with a bad depressive episode at 5am so took my meds, they did their job but didn't wake unti around 2:30pm. But woke up, did my Yule dinner which was delicious, watched some films, had a ME crash, woke again at 7pm, had wine with cheese & crackers. Now in bed.
