If data center water/energy usage isn't so big a concern, great. They can keep em in California and Texas then.
new from me: are data centers going to wipe out water supplies? how much water does ChatGPT really use? and what's going on with that big correction in Empire of AI?

i went long on the conversation around AI and water, and how it's actually about what we want resources to be used for:
You’re Thinking About AI and Water All Wrong
Fears about AI data centers’ water use have exploded. Experts say the reality is far more complicated than people think.

If you need a little digital reconnection to the pulse of the living Earth, here are about 200 sandhill cranes winging south over Atlanta this afternoon. Their voices have echoed across this continent for at least 5 million years. Hopefully 5 million more

OP's admission is that law enforcement cannot help themselves from wantonly targeting children
It’s clear from the video this woman had just come to the park to play with her child. She said as much and was upset that there were masked men with guns in the park.

Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino calls the woman an “activist” and Andy Ngo says the woman was using her child as a “human shield.”

Bro probably thinks the stuff he says to his tv impacts the football game too
Y’all talked too much about the TN-7 race, turned it high salience, juiced turnout, and wrecked Dems’ chances of sneaking in a win.

My Somali-Minnesotan neighbors have far more right to be in the twin cities than the ICE agents who, I cannot stress enough, should abruptly conclude their own lives

The only genre more boring than biography/"biopic" is memoir. Congrats on being a person who has experienced. What am I supposed to do with this.

NEW: ICE has finally released post-shutdown detention data. The latest data reveals that a full 40%(!) of people arrested in the interior and held in ICE detention have no criminal record; no criminal charges or prior convictions. That is up from just 4% when Trump took office.

Peter has failed to account for the fact that I'm dancing to the "down up up up" rhythm with one huge hip thrust. The extra weak beat gives me even more recovery time, so this single thrust is more than twice as sexually powerful as the combined two thrusts in a "up down up down" rhythm
Here's the part you mentioned
