6/ Taken together the picture is less about humanitarian rescue and more about power leverage and profit. Critics argue these actions violate international law and have worsened Venezuela’s humanitarian crisis raising hard questions about whose interests are really being served.

5/ The opposition leadership recognized by Washington is also deeply embedded in U.S.-funded institutions like the NED and the IRI. Critics describe this not as neutral support for democracy but as a coordinated regime-change lobby.

4/ Several sources argue oil sits at the center of U.S. pressure on Venezuela. Companies like Chevron and ExxonMobil are frequently cited as beneficiaries of sanctions and privatization plans that would follow a post-Maduro political transition.

3/ The controversy wasn’t just the failed operation. It was the willingness of U.S.-backed opposition networks to entertain armed action while being presented internationally as a legitimate democratic alternative to the Maduro government.

2/ One of the most revealing episodes is the Guaidó–Silvercorp agreement. A private security firm signed a contract tied to opposition figures to remove Nicolás Maduro by force. The plan collapsed but it exposed how far regime-change efforts had drifted from diplomacy.

First they tried to get felony charges for throwing a sandwich and then created a jury trial for a misdemeanor.

By the way Jeanine Pirro, the fox news host that her producer said was a danger to the country, was the one that brought the charges and her criminal husband was pardoned by #trump #legal
