I wander and make stuff, sometimes; I'm trying to make stuff more often, despite the best efforts of my inner critic. Behold, many shiddy first drafts, and some iffy second drafts too.
How do I work this thing.
I love that these contrast with real herbarium specimens that are flattened and kinda brown and often folded to fit on the page - these look so alive and don't fit on their page like they've got too much to live for and are trying to escape 😁 It would be a neat art exhibit.

I had to look twice to see it wasn't a photo of a real flower. I have these in my front garden and this one would fit right in. I love that you captured the wilted/spent flower as well!

This reminds me of those awesome children's book illustrations from the 60-70s that viewed children as smol adults and deserving of gorgeous art.

How to find people who know how to do this? I looked once and found a "green building association" but they weren't very helpful.

I wish cities could be very city-ish and the countryside could be very countryside-ish and that there was good mass transit between the two so that people could live where they prefer and work where they need to. I enjoy visiting cities but I can't live in one because Too Many People.

Hard to tell without a better look at the leaves, but I think that's a cup plant AKA compass plant (Silphium perfoliatum) - very cool plants

You are probably already well aware, but I am the ghost of Physical Therapy Future, here to warn you that curling up on the couch will earn you many, many annoying trips to the physical therapist and many, many very boring exercises you have to do for a very long time 😭

Proof that your art doesn't have to be "good" (whatever that means), just earnest, and some day it may end up in a museum 😁
