while i agree that we need more advocates, there are countless people in this industry that are keeping a low profile for safety or working full service in a criminalized area out of survival necessity. to imply that people should feel guilty for not being advocates is in poor taste, imo

when you have kids, no one tells you how much you have to stuff down and look past to keep providing them with an amazing life. i'm disabled, i'm grieving, my mental health is in shambles
