Indeed! We're all a little daft in our own ways.

Then there's those of us who barely hold it together with a fistful of controlled substances daily ... but yeah, I hear you. :)

Ha! Thanks for that - I actually live with mental health issues, so if *I* am the sane one, you know things are dire!
(Dark humour is a load bearing structure in my world, you truly did make me laugh out loud!)

And given the extrajudicial killings in international waters, it's hard to hold onto the hope that "someone in the military" will refuse his orders if they get way out of line. They already are way out of line.
Heck, I'm in Canada and I find it all terrifying.

Wait, the US is actually speaking to Ukraine about the "peace" talks? Instead of just passing along the Russians' plan? Huh. Wild.

That's so hard. Dementia is hard on everyone - and the fact that Trump is clearly this unwell and still (nominally?) in charge of the US is rather terrifying. He needs care and support, not to be used as a puppet by people trying to wring as much cash as they can outta the country.

We can celebrate his passing with mocktails of orange juice, gingerale, and maraschino cherries! Maybe with a splash of almond extract. :)

Yep!! Excellent processing on that one, Wookie. It's so hard when we want to look after other people (often because we weren't looked after and know how tough it is) - but all we can do is set them up to succeed and encourage them on their own path.

That is the start of a good day if I ever saw one. :)

Yep: When Dad's FTD started to affect his balance, he did that same forward lean, the same wonky leg movements getting in and out of vehicles, the same hesitating steps. FTD also tends to reduce inhibitions - and Trump didn't have many to start with, so this is bound to be messy.

Yep ... my dad had FTD and when I saw Trump bobble going up into the garbage truck during the campaign I said wow, looks just like Dad's wobbly gait. He is clearly very unwell, and he needs care he's not getting.

A jar of jam was $8. When did that happen? I'm not talking abot a big jar or organic fruit or anything, just a regular jar of Smuckers.

Being mobile gives you time to decide where you wanna set down for longer term - and you don't even have to pick a longer term, you can park near your sister for a year or whatever then go somewhere else if it isn't where you wanna be for too long.

Bummer, dude. Good on ya for holding your boundaries, I know it's super hard.
