Fire Schumer as leader or prepare for a well funded primary challenge.

Yup she was pitching Cuomo on her Instagram. Not an ally!

I believe Democratic donors (who tend to be 1st and business class flyers rather than private plane owners) were affected by canceled flights and got on the phone. And everyone Senators claim to be fighting for took a back seat. They already got what they needed from us on Election Day. Despicable

If the threat of killing the filibuster serves the same purpose as actually killing the filibuster then what is the utility of having it?

Either he orchestrated the yes vote, including strategizing over which members will be facing primaries next year, in which case he’s a shit leader, or he failed to orchestrate an opposition vote, and the rest of the caucus did that without him and he’s REALLY a shit leader.

You just negotiated to kill it in return for shorter lines at the airport.

Yeah they can’t change a bill that’s already been voted on, they’d probably be negotiating for future fuckery.

Only cloture really matters, Republicans have 50 votes with no Dems
November 10, 2025 at 1:56 AM
You will NEVER get that vote, you idiot. You just gave Trump the biggest win of his 2nd term for NOTHING.
November 10, 2025 at 1:21 AM
Definitely useful for when FoxNews rolls out their “AOC/Mamdani agenda” infographics
November 9, 2025 at 7:18 PM
Was some rich Republican donor not a Senator, but otherwise yeah, lmao

I can’t believe National politics reporters read this obvious Heritage Foundation ghost-written slop and thought it was real.

Anecdotal, but stories about Erika Kirk on Facebook have switched from leading with the cry emoji reaction to the laugh emoji reaction. Could just be my algorithm but I think public sympathy for Kirk has an expiration date when it’s so obviously being milked for money and fame.

“We spent 100 million dollars trying to foment a race war with AI attack ads, and now he won’t even take our calls”

“Got the story wrong” indicates that it matters much which Trump kiss-ass** collapsed. The story is that Trump took one glance at the guy and then stood there looking annoyed while others “cleaned up the mess”

** yes anyone standing around for a Trump victory lap without being forced is a kiss ass

Can’t believe Sherrill exceeded my (at the time) slightly exaggerated prediction by 3-4 points.

He’s been to the Times Square M&M store

I don’t know if it was necessarily the intent, but that cover goes hard as hell

NYT, STFU

Lemmy tell you a couple, three things. Jack Cittarelli is a fucking animal, he has no respect for this thing of ours, and he’s gonna lose by 10 points
November 5, 2025 at 12:06 AM
Yeah i got served that ad, it was a “dip” from like 95 -> 93. Statistical noise from degenerate gamblers.
November 4, 2025 at 8:24 PM
To be fair to them, that big flip flop in your chart was when Mamdani won the primary in July. I believe Mamdani has led consistently since.
November 4, 2025 at 8:06 PM
I saw one on FB for Polymarket that had a side by side, one side was Mamdani with (fake photoshop) tear streaming down his face and the other side was Cuomo with a big shit eating grin. The contract it linked to was like 95-4 in favor of Mamdani, lol.

Most of the places threatened are heavily Democratic areas, but Republicans are more likely to vote on Election Day so I agree it’s not exactly a genius strategy.
