You are probably correct, but it felt a little personal. I find "thoughts and prayers" to be incredibly hypocritical and don't appreciate being compared to that phrase.
But we do have to shoulder our own burdens.

Well, we will continue to persevere. Rest assured that we Americans are as horrified as the rest of you. However, this has shown a spotlight on just how much the world does rely on the US. One step at a time. We have to begin with the 2026 midterm elections.
