🚨Our new article in GEC shows how the #UNFCCC can cause “problem-shifting”—that some solutions create new problems.

We analysed 182 communications from 25 industrialized countries & found 718 instances of problem shifts, across sectors, borders & generations.

Returning from two intense but incredibly rewarding days with
#SEI’s Science Advisory Council, where we discussed SEI’s exciting new strategy for 2025-2029. It’s inspiring to see the institute flourishing & growing despite the (geo)political challenges. Looking forward to continued collaboration!

Just had an inspiring visit to Uppsala University, meeting with the Climate Change Leadership group. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about their many research projects & discuss future collaboration. A huge thank you to @mikaelkarlsson.bsky.social for the invitation and warm welcome!
