Quite. And yet still the US press normalises his actions: they say he's executed a 'transformation' of the DOJ when the word is 'corruption'. This is the man who dreamily simulated oral sex with a microphone at a rally just weeks before the election with barely a ripple of comment in the press.

It's very well said indeed. He's got a good track record - opposing the M4 Relief road thru the Gwent Levels - and it will be sad to see him go in 2026.

I wonder whether he feels the fact that he is standing down at the next Senedd elections gives him the freedom to criticise NFU Cymru so directly?
