No not at this time of year. November was exceptionally warm, everybody was moaning that it shouldn't be 38C in November but a drop to 23 is a shock!

We had a lovely Thai meal. A Thai chef has her own place on the East Bank but on a Sunday she comes over and takes over the kitchen in a local West Bank hotel to serve Thai food. Saves us crossing the river. Watched final GP at Jen's & saw Lando Norris become World Champion, good day all round 😀

If you can try to visit the Valley of the Nobles. Some of the tombs there are wonderful, less formal more the lives of the nobility. Menna is my favourite, I would sit on the floor & just stare at the scenes, the old Guardian knew us well! Aswan museum is V good.

Some people love them but I hate the hassle & haggling. If I want something I decide what I want to pay & stick to it or just walk away. We say we have invisibility cloaks, they sense we live here so ignore us. A guide might reduce the hassle but for some it is the fun of it that they like 🤷
