However, they cannot see much beyond it. So, to them, our region of space is the "early universe". However, we know there are galaxies far beyond ours in the opposite direction. Thus, I don't think the CMB is what we think it is. It's more like a horizon we can't see beyond. 2/2

That said, I have long used an example to show the likelihood that the universe is infinite:
Pick an arbitrary direction and imagine a galaxy roughly 13 billion light years away. Let's say that they're observing the Milky Way. They see it as it was 13 billion years ago. 1/2

Honestly, I haven't been overly impressed with any president from 2000 forward. Particularly Republicans. Nevertheless, both Obama and Biden left a lot to be desired.

I am a fan of so many musicians that I can not keep up with their output. My want list is easily over a hundred albums long; some of which have gone out of print. Being a 70s kid, I was able to discover the overwhelming majority of these musicians without the internet.

I thought it was a questionnaire. I don't do Spotify. Though I did listen to di.fm until they did away with the free tier, I'm more of a physical media person. I've always been more band and album oriented than single oriented. I tolerated radio as a way to hear new music.
