I was tempted because this is only week we can use where Wolves, Burnley, and Leeds are all away and against teams with viable assets that we’re unlikely to have. But for me I decided my team was fine as it is….

If I had Thiago I’d be much less likely to FH, which highlights how marginal the chip really is! I’ve also got 2FTs to move Gabriel and Enzo on, so FH may change who I get in 14; makes Rice more appealing, for instance.

Maybe… if you look at the worst teams in the league, Burnley, Wolves, and Leeds are away and I only have Haaland against them. West Ham are at home to Liverpool and I have no one. But I’ve no appetite for swapping out good picks for other good picks and still fear having a clutch of injuries later

If you follow the odds and keep an eye on stats, it doesn't really throw up surprises. This is, in my view, because huge squads, rotation, and five subs per game, mean there are only a couple of dozen viable picks in any case.

If you know what you're doing (i.e. have hours to understand it and the premises behind it, and have lots of time each week to tinker with it) it'd be fun and genuinely useful for someone like you who's keen to play with risk; but for people like me it's a bit too complex to get full use of.

That’s my set up; plan was to shift back to 3-4-3 with Anderson as 8th attacker with 2FTs and money ITB. Gabriel injury scuppers that but maybe could still do it.
