Yeah, there are a lot of tools in the BI/analytics space with various features, some of which include something similar. I've used Databox in the past, as well as several of its competitors. But those tend to be full-featured BI tools rather than simple metric summaries.

It's a little more complex due to some odd service authorizations and the need to store all the data in a way that can be compared across services for the weekly report. But, yeah, it is mostly nightly jobs downloading the data and then scheduled tasks for performing and sending the analysis.
