The only thing that bothers me, is when people obviously ignore his abuse and call him a slut, and say he's just a slut or a whore, etc. Which was precisely what he was forced to be, but not what he is. I also have a problem with the term slut.

As a fellow SA survivor, I whole heartily agree with your assessment. As someone who found that person who makes you feel safe & seen, you tend to go a little wild, there is nothing wrong with that. I do see Astarion as a very sexual person, who WANTS to embrace his sensuality now that he's free.
