How people can even do that is quite beyond me. I'm six ft and spent the whole gig with my back against a side wall just to make sure that I wasn't blocking anyone else's view.

Mrs Rox is definitely not a tall woman, but we'd got there in plenty of time, stood through 40 mins of the support act & another 20 of the gap between the bands, & at that point she had a decent enough view. Then some fat fuck waltzed in, saw a gap, & just stood right in front of her 😡

It was particularly annoying that the first song he did it for was Night Mail - just so out of place, and I more or less couldn't actually hear the recorded poem bit.

Yep, generally fun, but whether it was the mix or the volume or where we were standing, there was about 15 mins which were virtually unlistenable. Much more of that and we'd have knocked the rest of it on the head.

Also, please protect me from the self-entitlement of tall blokes who feel that it's their right to push nearer to the front and dtand in front of everyone else just before the start.

It was lovely here first thing, but gradually got worse from about 2.00pm onwards. Steady rain ever since, but not too heavy (hopefully 🤞, as we're off out again soon).
