It was harder to sneak into the indie game section at #MAGFest for playtesting this year, and we only ran one playtest and a few demos of the Chinese zodiac prototype. But good to see some familiar designers from Break My Game and others. Liked the indie table setup better this [email protected]

Bluesky doesn't offer a Norwegian interface yet, so now using the Danish! Danish and Norwegian are written so similarly, it's pretty easy to understand for a semi-fluent Norwegian-speaker. Get a copy of Twisty Tealz to start learning either of these languages!

Yo, who’s interested in a game that uses this wicked cool numeral system?!
A break from our regularly scheduled programming to show you these super cool Iñupiaq numerals that were invented by a small Inuit middle school class in Alaska. Those students went on to teach the system to other Inuit students, and it soon came to be taught at their community college. Amazing. 🤩

Decided on one final little rule change before publishing: you’ll no longer have to make sure that a teal is not the last thing you play! For a longer game you can always add that rule in, but it tends to increase the length of the game by 25-100%.

Great sign: At least half of visitors to our demo/playtesting table at MAGFest asked if the game was available for purchase! Not quite, but we sold a prototype at the end of the weekend. ☺️

Just created a Mastodon account. Now it's time to create a new business card for our new name and social accounts! Expecting to use Bluesky more than Mastodon, but joined a Mastodon server with a bunch of bonus features, including 2000-character limit and enhanced photo capacity. So that'll be fun.
