Archaeologists have unearthed a Bronze Age metropolis in the heart of the Eurasian steppe: an early form of city as complex as those of contemporary, more traditionally 'urban' civilisations, showing how steppe polities were just as sophisticated.

Each time I have posted this video on other platforms the response has shown how useful people have found it. I teach face to face lessons in distaff spinning in the UK, but I know there are so many people, worldwide, interested in learning this technique and tutors are few. Hope this helps.

I attended an incredible workshop by Njál's Saga Tapastry Project. This 91-meter-long collaborative work is raising money for a museum to house it. The project took 7 years and is modeled after [email protected]. I loved learning this handcraft skill that reaches back through the ages
