Been working on this one for a couple weeks. I love this little undead critter.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is Pincushion, the familiar of one of the PCs in Critical Role, Campaign 4. And I absolutely adore him. (Me? Obsessed with a fox character? Naaah... 😜)

Finally went to visit the local botanical garden, knowing it was the last chance to see the scarecrows when it's not storming.
Absolutely beautiful.
A long-tailed skipper butterfly on tiny pink and yellow flowers. Its wings are light brown with white spots, its body is light blue, and its hindwings have tails. A curved walkway on the edge of a wild-looking lake. Moss hangs off of a large tree over the walkway. The sun beams down through the branches. A plank walkway towards a large arch, covered in greenery. Tall wetland plants grow out of the water to either side of the walkway. Large plant pots sit on either side, just before the water. They are filled with a variety of plants, including the tall purple baron grass and orange and yellow magnolias. A scarecrow that looks like a witch, with a pumpkin head, a lot of dried flowers in her hat, a skirt made of flattened cracker boxes, and black spiders made from what appears to be plastic planters.

The night before last, I had a dream in which Absol got an evolution. The evolution had dragon-typing and it gave off Haku (from Spirited Away) vibes.
I spent most of yesterday attempting to draw something close to it.
I think I more or less achieved what I was going for.

Waited for a day my throat was feeling alright (reflux has been kicking my ass off and on for months), did some warmups, and tried this out.
