I also think that’s why I was able to slip back into bedwetting as easily as I did once I committed myself to wearing every night.

On another note, I sleep so much better now that I wet the bed again. Because I wet the bed for so long as a kid, I think my brain subconsciously knew I should be diapered and wasn’t letting me enjoy a full restful sleep without protection.

Eventually, I started relaxing more and more and began to wet myself diapers no matter whether I was at home or not. Since then I have started to have actual bedwetting experiences to the point where I legitimately am not comfortable sleeping without protection.

Doing all of this helped me get into the habit of wearing diapers every night. Overtime, I reached a point where I wore diapers every night, no matter what.

Even on nights where I just didn’t feel like wearing, I could convince myself to put one on because “they’re basically just thick underwear.”

Those diapers worked like a charm. I found that even if I didn’t want to wear a disposable diaper, I could convince myself to pull on a cloth diaper. If I didn’t fully use the diaper, I could just wash it and reuse it again. If I didn’t wet myself I could just put it on the next night.

I never pulled the trigger because the upfront cost is so much, but eventually I went ahead and ordered some from Threaded Armor.

Eventually, I found a compromise: cloth diapers. Cloth diapers have never really appealed to me. I grew up on disposables so that is what I’m drawn to. However, I found myself routinely drawn to some cloth diaper websites.

Even as a kid, I loved wetting the bed (which is probably why I went as long as I did). As soon as I was out of pull-ups at night I knew I wanted back in; however, I ignored those feelings for many years.
