If I ever get a mechanical watch, it'll be one where you can see the movement, otherwise I feel like I'm paying extra for an objectively worse timekeeping device because "well, the internals are fancy!"

I think the funniest thing about RE9 ads with the watches going "THESE ARE THE WATCHES THEY WEAR" because if it stuck to the reality of it, they wouldn't use $1.5K+ mechanical watches where one bad clash fucks your watch up, they'd use the old reliable casio F91W because they're $20

It seems to be attracting those types that think Minecraft "failed" at what it was trying to do because they completely misunderstood what it was actually trying to do: be a funny block building game with lite survival elements

This is why Minecraft Java will always remain as my favorite block game, it's the only one that lets me be non-human(and by result a fox)
It's kind of amazing how every "popular" block game, including Minecraft itself, never has player created skins anymore, and when they do let you customize them, they're completely allergic to anything that isn't human
