At the time Hartford was the wealthiest city in the U.S. and one of the fastest growing, so they built a drinking water infrastructure to accommodate a much larger city than it is today. The upshot is great tap water and an amazing network of public parkland.

Gotta try Hartford. As in New York, the city bought up huge tracts of Northwest Connecticut to protect its water supply in the mid-1800s.

It’s a good question. Maybe not strangers (although, if we’re being honest, a small fraction of OOS projects actually have communities of contributors who are unknown to each other) but I could imagine working with a close colleague on something.

Surprisingly, this is the first time Minecraft has won. Extremely impressed with the arguments the students made throughout the tournament, especially for the obvious underdogs. There were many close run contests and even a few upsets.
