We started development on the Read Only User Profile Sharing Links this week. This will allow you to share your Foto Profile with everyone. You’ll be able to put your Foto Profile in your IG Bio, share it on Threads, send it in an email, text it to a friend, etc.

We are wrapping up some new spam safeguards and fixing 2 bugs related to Notifications 2.0.

Sharing another browser design mockup! This one shows the notification 2.0 update and a slide out tray on the right for when you are replying to a comment/reply notification. We think this will make conversations easier.

We are continuing to work on designing the browser version of Foto. These two screens show where we are headed with the Discovery Page. We will be separating Posts and Portfolios on the Discovery Page for mobile this year. That will carry over into the browser experience shown here.

Foto 0.10.29 is now available for everyone! This update adds the ability to scroll through your photos & post to Foto from the share sheet. This is the little square with the up arrow. Previously, you could only upload by going to Foto & creating a new post & then scrolling through all your photos.

We’ve built Foto differently . Many tech startups seek traditional investors as early as possible, but entering that structure inevitably leads down a path of serving shareholders instead of the community. This incentive structure is something we want to avoid. Our goal is to build Foto with you.
