This is the third house we've had where halogens were used in one place or another and, whether they are embedded or on a fitting, they are always a pure cunt to replace. I'm now thinking tenancy agreements should include the 3 person job instruction to replace these little fuckers.

When your light fitting is so shit that you have to turn off the electricity because the only way to remove and replace lights is to either call and electrician or remove the entire housing and expose the main, then consider that maybe your ceiling embedded lights were cute for about 1 month.

Installing now, good tutorialisation is a big problem for many reasons (planned too late, too many change to scope before it's implementation, just plain bad, etc). Always looking for interesting ways people try to make it elegant while making sure it both does enough but isn't too heavy handed.
