I'm doing everything I can to not get my hopes up, but this is the most solid lead my husband's had in two years, and if we can just hold out till he lands it, we might finally turn the page on honestly the hardest days of my life.

I have a very promising interview this coming week. This could actually be the end of this jobless stint.

But we're on empty. No cash, nothing coming in. And my unemployment benefits for this year won't restart until March. :/

The Voice of Dog is looking for submissions for Poetry Month 2026. This coming April, we again will feature the work of furry poets, and those who'd like to become furry poets. Entries may be in any verse form, no minimum length. Voice of Dog standards, as ever, apply: ender 5k words, no bigotry, no generative AI, etc. Broadcast dates will be assigned once submissions closed. The maximum episodes we intend to produce is 13, as that's how many broadcast days are available this coming April. SUBMISSIONS WILL CLOSE WHEN AND IF WE REACH THIS MAXIMUM. Submissions are open until March 1st, 2026, or until the submission cap is reached, whichever comes first. Feels genuinely ridiculous to ask people to read my books right now, with all the nationwide strikes and epistien emails and government shutdowns.
