"Better to be a sugar cane in the field of Bad Bunny than to be a supporting act in the kid rock clusterfuck."

(That's a Bible verse, right?)

Fun fact: The divorce scene in the Kid Rock show was an actual divorce showing a wife leaving her conservative husband.

But did Brantley Gilbert use his brass knuckles mic in his pretend play super bowl show.

Oh this Ring ad is terrifying.

Is this the way the Minneapolis police department finally gets dismantled??
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara told his officers that they have a duty to intervene if they see ICE committing crimes and will be fired if they don't. We need a lot more of this.

Minneapolis police chief warns officers: Stop unlawful force by ICE or lose your job
Chief Brian O’Hara says he’ll fire city police officers if they don’t intervene when immigration agents use unlawful force.

Fuck. No.

Hold the fucking men who perpetrate monstrosities accountable for their own actions for once.

Eww.
The women who supported Jeffrey Epstein as he and his wealthy male counterparts committed atrocities beyond comprehension should be executed first.

Well this is definitely the most famous Brantley Gilbert has ever been.

I grew up surrounded by conservatives constantly harping on strong states' rights to combat federal oppression and I gotta say, it's wild watching states do that for the exact opposite agenda than those folks were talking about.

Steph Curry just showed up on my TV in this ad claiming he's played for the same pro team for 17 years and I'm sorry he's lying because all I know about Steph Curry is that he's a huge star in college ball and it definitely hasn't been that long since I was in college hearing about him.

I am shocked by the backlash on that trump post.

Not even mildly surprised by the post. But shocked there has been any kind of backlash.
February 7, 2026 at 1:55 AM
I love how anti trump people spend so much energy strategizing for him and making sure to publicize those strategies. Great thing to do for an evil regime which has repeatedly revealed a weakness in any kind of strategic planning.
Those who claim that Trump does not have enough lawless ICE goons to take over polling stations do not understand how US elections work.

If Trump's goons are able to severely suppress turnout in just three major Democratic-leaning cities, GOP control of the Senate is certain.

So is the fact that they cannot even get an actual country music star for that "alternate halftime show" evidence of how damaging aligning with all of that is for a celebrity's image or simply that they are too broke to afford big names? 🧐

I mean. They couldn't even get Jason Aldean. 🤣
February 4, 2026 at 10:19 PM
Relatable.
been stewing on taylor swift's "actually romantic" every since i heard it for the first time in that youtube 'worst pop music of 2025' compilation and it's turned me from "inoffensively mildly annoyed at the ubiquity of a mediocre artist" to "top 25 in the guillotine line" in the span of a few weeks

Today a second grader told me that I "basically wear the same thing every single day" and I feel so roasted.

I want the Epstein files released, but people need to understand how cult programming works.

Despite him being mentioned over THIRTEEN THOUSAND TIMES, it will not move the needle. It's fake news, you see.

That and they're at the point they don't care. About anything. Except The Agenda.

Helluva week for 4 prominent country artists to drop a collaboration where the chorus begins "and my bloodline, it bled on this ground." 😬

(The only reason I'm mildly surprised because Tim McGraw is involved, and Jason Aldean isn't. 🙃)

My kid's annual IEP meeting was today. It went great, I love his team and like. I'm a sped teacher. I live and breathe IEP meetings, and this is like the 12th similar meeting I've had for my own kid (between IFSPs and IEPs and REEDs), and yet

I'm so fucking drained. His meetings always break me.

...does my daughter know something I don't know... 👀

(I'd take it as a positive omen if not for the sad face she included).

The thing about queer kids is they... simply exist.

Today one of my 4th graders casually told me about her girlfriend several states away.

(I've got my cautionary talk for students who tell me about their Snapchat relationships with kids (?) they've never met down to a science at this point. 🙃😬)

Well.

The murder of a white man with a gun was enough to turn two (2) evangelical Christians from my past life against ICE

(or at least sway them enough that they posted on fb about it. Which. Is an unpardonable sin in those circles, whether they've learned that yet or not. Ask me how I know lol.)

It is profoundly sad that a white man's concealed carry guns rights is what is getting certain people to finally understand that the US government does not give a shit about laws or rights or lives. This is not a criticism of the victim. This is a criticism of the US's sympathies & priorities.

Just read a clearly-ai story on FB about the evils of ai and smartboards and tablets in classrooms, reposted by a teacher who is in her 80s and with a comments section full of older people talking about how all this "modern" shit has made it where "kids these days" can't think or discern. 🙃

Seven years ago today, my beautiful daughter came into this world, and it's so much brighter with her in it.

This milestone should only be cause for celebration. I'm angry at the amount of fear I feel today for her safety as she moves towards puberty.

Protect trans kids, y'all.

I've been thinking lately about if I'm at work when it happens and I have to reign in my celebratory feelings for the sake of "professionalism".

Well. Tomorrow's a cold weather day, so I'll be home all day. Just saying. It'd be a great day for it.
