I was reminded today of this little comic I drew a few years ago based on a now long forgotten Discord conversation, but y'all can enjoy this inaccurate depiction of the Land of the Dead!
Part one out of two of a comic, both four panels. The first panel shows an ancient Egyptian style bird, arm outstretched, saying "Welcome! To the Land of the Dead! What offerings have you brought us?" to a generic person. Second panel, the person says "Well, I have two gold coins and this piece of bread" while holding said items. Third panel the bird says "Excellent! You may place it on the alter and proceed forth! Go and find the dog-headed one, and follow his instruction." Fourth panel shows the person placing the items on the alter, and in the background a dog-headed person excitedly waves,eyes wide, tail wagging #furryart Part two out of two of a comic, both four panels. Panel one shows the dog-headed one punching into the person's chest. The person, caught off guard, saying "HellooOOOWWFF" and the dog saying "GIVE ME YOUR HEART" The second panel shows the dog saying "WE MUST WEIGH YOUR SINS" while happily placing the heart on a close up of a large scale. There is a pointy beaked person in the background. The person is looking at the third panel, wheezing, saying "But..." The third panel the person is in the fetal position on the ground, back to the viewer, saying "...that's a feather on the other side." I've finally made some headway on these two Chozo, giving them names and a bit of a back story. Frigid Tome is the Thoha penguin scientist and Swift Feather is the Mawkin vulture warrior. More lore on my tumblr

I don't think Amelia expected to meet some Chozo, but they will help her out and protect her, even if the warrior is reluctant about it.

Hell of a crossover episode tho!

Emperor Penguin Chozo scientist? They are the travel companion for my vulture Chozo bounty hunter OC. As they go from job to job, the pengu gathers research data on the area of space their in and sets up jobs for the vulture bounty hunter.

I got a new lens for my DSLR.

It's difficult to hold a chunky old camera in one hand with a heavy lens on it. It should be a fun lens at conventions

Another camera to add to the collection, a Nikon D70 from 2004. I got the body for $14 and I already have some F mount lenses for it, but I had to get a new battery. I still need to figure out the best picture settings, but this is a rather intuitive camera to use! The Tamron lens is new for me too

I was tired of generic color cars, so when I was car shopping a few years ago and saw this, I had to get it. The color is called "Tonic Yellow," and was a factory color from Honda. My last car was black, and before that was beige

Had a funny bug at the end cutscene with Bogey stuck in this pose for the entire scene. Also had some targeting weirdness at times with the gun where the reticle was stuck in the void and the gun would shoot that way
