Well, I've done some art, and borrowed some others. The Last Islands of Man 2 gets a minor visual upgrade. I'm working on the overworld a piece at a time, as well as putting together costumes and new sprites. Tall sprites are a real challenge that should be worth it. #indiegame #rpgmaker #gamedev

I've still been smoothing out mechanics for TLIOM 2. Camping, time management, weather, water supplies, shops and always more lighting and shadows. It keeps looking and running better and better. Lots more to go, but it's got some personality now. Cheers. #rpgmaker #indiegame #gamedev

In The Last Islands of Man 2 water is rationed per person, per day. It is the only source of Magic. Balance your tactics or your support at home might collapse. The citizens need water too. If you can get past the guard you can fill your own canteen, it's your choice. #gamedev #rpgmaker #indiegame

I'm not an artist, I've replaced the placeholders I had with my own concept art. It'll take a bit to get used to and I can already see where I will improve the next versions. Eventually, I'll afford an artist for all the characters in The Last Islands of Man 2. #rpgmaker #gamedev #indiedev

I'm working on ironing out my Quest section of my GDD. 25 main quests, and a handful of side quests. This will allow me to organize and expand everything. For reference my GDD is at 120k words, containing my to dos, script, brainstorming, history, characters, everything. #rpgmaker #gamedev #indiedev

I've got my random weather and daytime tints and player lighting/shadows and HUD all working together today. It's so nice making visible progress. Next on my list is a lot of quest work to polish up on. New descriptions and non hand holding objectives. Not the funnest. #rpgmaker #indiegame #gamedev

After a quick break I'm back to working on The Last Islands of Man 2. Interior lighting and doodads!😅 Here's the Last Village's Training rooms and Inn. Resting at the Inn doesn't restore your MP, you'll have to use your water ration for that. Visit the water tent soon! #gamedev #indiedev #rpgmaker.

Hey all, I'm showing off my latest map, it's a training room basement, meant to teach basic jumps, lightable candles and personal torches.
The Last Islands of Man 2 is going well, at about 45mins a day lol. I'm using Mv, Doodads and CL with ossrax's basic shadows.

I've been playing around with Doodads and found out that they can be activated by switches. This saves me soo much time with remapping. Here's a successful attempt with fixing a water stream. Polish can be so satisfying. #indiedev #rpgmaker #gamedev

Hey all, I need help. I'm using Yanfly's MoveRouteCore. I find that my characters, hidden events having their image changed, are on a lower layer than my main character and doodads. I tried using Set event location instead but the issue seems to remain. Any help or suggestions? #gamedev #rpgmaker
