Calling greening volunteers to a new Corral Park space this coming Saturday for some caretaking actions on the land. This is a volunteer only event. We will be trimming back overgrown trees and plants, creating swales for the coming rains, assessing the land for future caretaking, and clearing any litter from the space to ensure that greenery can take hold and flourish. We meet at the corner of Lake Chabot Road and Carlton Avenue. Working from 9am to 1pm. Please dress for work in weeds and forest spaces. Bring any clippers, rakes, or tree shaping tools you might have available. We will provide gloves, water, snacks, and warm thanks for your help. The goal, for the morning is to take this first step in maintaining the space for native plant care as well as to support fire abatement efforts. Direct message us with any questions. 🌎💚 Our Community in Action!

This Saturday, 39 amazing volunteers came together to clean along the 580 West freeway, collecting 29 bags of litter, debris, and removing invasive pampas grass before the rains arrived!

Together, we protect our home, our Bay, and our shared future.

🌎💚 Our Community in Action! 💚🌎 This Saturday, 39 amazing volunteers came together to clean along the 580 West freeway, collecting 29 bags of litter, debris, and removing invasive pampas grass before the rains arrived! Our area doesn’t have street drainage filters — meaning every piece of litter can wash straight into the Bay. Thanks to these incredible community members, this waste won’t make it to our waters.
