Such a great song. My first instinct to post for this prompt. Here’s that note from the Ziggo Dome a few years back. Amazing voice. 🖤

Will put in the effort and put on some makeup though.

I will concede there are still small family farms, but small farms are being subsumed. I have a small farm myself (apples and grapes) in a county full of consolidating big farms. Some are “family owned,” which are family owned large corps that act just like any big shareholding corp does.

Just finished my Canadian licensing boards exam (after close to two decades in my field in the US). First step towards immigration. Can’t say Trump hasn’t been inspirational! 😂 Time to check out Ottawa and celebrate! 🇨🇦

Thanks for the heads up! Have been dying to find out where it would be (hopefully) showing in my area.

Can you post that AP report you heard or read? Because it is inconsistent with data published elsewhere. The Pew Research Center also shows non-Hispanic whites as the largest recipients of SNAP benefits at 39.8%. Read the full report here:

Out harvesting grapes and this beautiful bird has been soaring overhead. Has been hanging around all summer. Merlin app says it’s an osprey, but seems to lack that bent wing thing they have. Any bird ID folks out there?

Loved seeing Modest Mouse at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA tonight! They were great yet again. It was my husband’s birthday- he was born 10 minutes away from here 50 years ago today!

Grapes are sizing up!

Aha! So we shall see how it unfolds as we get more production. I relayed this conversation to the husband and he immediately went to the cellar and brought a gallon of perry in. I suppose the haze isn’t too bad.

Lovely relaxing day with birds singing and the neighbors shooting guns. 🙄

Ahhh…. Summer. The blue skies, the sunlight on your skin, the gentle breeze in your hair, watching the birds on the wing… and listening to your neighbors enthusiastically exercising their second amendment rights loudly and repeatedly for hours on end. 😕

Out working in the grapevines today. Flower buds are beginning to open. Earliest stages of this year’s wine!
