I've found mine (VCH) to be a lot of fun, and I've been thinking of getting a bigger/heavier one. It's a really interesting sensation, and it healed quite quickly. Just gotta make sure to get it done at a very clean establishment.

Hopefully a helpful little tip from a tiny felk and chronic migraine-haver:
Taking acetaminophen (Tylenol or called paracetamol depending on where you live) + ibuprofen (Advil) is like a 2+2=5 for dealing with pain.

Model/hobby shops often have Vallejo paints. If you have access to a Games Workshop store, their paints are also very good though likely to be more expensive. Their customer service is generally great and they can teach you in-store.
