I was already losing interest in games for this past decade just because most games prioritize pretty particular effects and frame rates over letting you actually do anything interesting with the game mechanics provided.

Okay but TMNT still has sonic beat for the worlds most oblivious fan. Who was offended that a furry artist was hired on to draw and write for the TMNT comic.
Theres alot of Sonic fans who lack self awareness but THAT is unbeatable comedy gold.

since most other characters like soliel and gemerl are being asked for. I’ll toss in Ariem and Megani for the obscure picks (I’d also suggest lumina and void but maybe airem could just have something in her outfit to reference them)

I would use bionicle and drawings for this instead, because setting up the poses even with a friend was a nightmare, plus it was more to make up characters than to spend the single player beating up my friends.

Good news Evan has very slightly indicated she’s interested in the idea of bringing back shard in a legally distinct way. Given how she said it I wouldn’t be expecting anything for a few years, but the seed is planted.

It is a swear for some families, not even a regional thing I’ve encountered both families who 100% know it’s a swear and familys who are 100% certain it’s not, all in the same town.

Also if you grew up with ”the beano” the problem is obvious, your comparing American comic strip humor to a British comic strip, most Americans didn’t find the jokes in sonic the comic funny. That’s not the writers fault.

”do you recognize the obscure sonic thing” isn’t the punchline for either thing, it’s just an added layer to the joke if you know the reference, which considering both are contextual to the comic they appear in, most readers would have recognized anyway.

I mean I wouldn’t define him as the villain of someone he isn’t constantly fighting. In a majority of games where peach is playable, bowser is either an ally or secondary to a different antagonist. Peachs villains would be characters made for HER to fight, specifically. Same for everyone else.

You might just not get comic strip style humor. Because once they stopped being about the editor and actually built around the characters, they were pretty consistently at least smile worthy.

Still absolutely criminal that Sonic 3 wasn’t considered for best adaptation. I didn’t even know splinter cell GOT an adaptatio, why is it here?
