Gearing up the ‘whole of society’ to ‘war fighting readiness’ is likely to lead to war somewhere in the world, if not in Europe, to maintain the purpose of a larger ‘defence’ industry and military.   

We need less irresponsible narrative and far more effort towards building peace.
