Now #SerieA is back I will look at how each team did in the summer, the final days of the market were frantic but there were a few strange windows

Every time I criticise Kane, he then scores five against Frankfurt or whatever and the world keeps on turning. But I do think he’s a serious tactical obstacle for a Bayern side that clearly want to challenge for the Champions League this season.

With the fixtures to come Inter will find it hard to make the top 8. That was a crucial misstep tonight

That's PSV Eindoven's second stunning result. They really don't have a particularly good team. Incredible. As for Liverpool. It is one of those when the wheels come of they come off hard. Question is whether it can stabilise and return before having to remove Slot

Theres a lot of wrong uns at Atletico Madrid. Inter didn't deserve to lose that. But is their own fault, they had chances. Psychological against Spanish teams for Italians

Brilliant from Atalanta tonight. The frustrating thing for them is if they had found a goal at home to Slavia they would be in 2nd place in the table!

Arteta finally getting the rewards thr hundreds of millions he has spent deserve. No doubt he will put it all down to his genius

The Atalanta of Juric would never have done this. This is like the Atalanta of the Europa League win. Palladium unleashed them

The Champions League is more than any other competion about taking your chances. Inter had a few but weren't clinical. Now Atleti least and are on top thanks to taking the one that comes their way (should have been a handball). Serie A lacks finishers this season.

David Luiz scoring storming champions league goals in 2025. Crazy

Nice balanced headline that won't be misconstrued by the BBC🙄. Left wing bias...sure

Not one current or former DEFRA minister on the list. Also intrigued what the Beeb have done to farmers..was it Matt Baker?
I think at this point if you're including Diane Abbott - a woman who has never held government office, has been a backbencher since 2020, and is scarcely a government ally - on your list of political wrongdoers, we all know exactly what your real concerns are

Mad if you own one of the apartments that back right on to the Bodø Glimt stadium. Champions League football from your living room.

I thought it at the weekend. Injuries have allowed Conte to play a formation and line up which is better suited to the players now there. A 343 with Neres and Lang wide and McTominay back marauding not stuck weirdly out wide.

#Napoli #UCL

Well Juventus and Napoli have in my opinion a half to salvage their Champions League seasons. Not good enough. Italian teams can’t keep going failing against these teams. Would be a disgrace to go out in the league phase but looking likely

And this is the alcohol free stand. Test over £100
Day 4 of a test v NZ starting at £90. Fuck off ECB

Well north of Heathrow airport I've enjoyed knowing you. It will be impossible to pass the roads to get to or from you if the plan to reroute thr m25 goes ahead

Boavista to be liquidated. Historic club. One of Portugal's bigger clubs outside the big 3. The last non big 3 title winners & only one since the 1940s. Already removed from the professional leagues. Another victim of the club killer Gérard Lopez. Not sure how he is so good at it. Bordeaux then this

Also flags up that, whisper it, South Africa genuinely deserve to be World Test champions and need longer series

India staring down the barrel in another home test match. Now looks like England actually should have beaten India comfortably in the summer. Marco Jansen on fire for SA

You turn on any game now (watching Melbourne City v Johor) and you see players you recognise. Amazing how the world of football has shrunk. 2 Saudi defeats in the AFC champions league yesterday which was a shock at least.

Successful in the ballot to buy test match tickets at the Oval next year...but for Day 4. Is there any point buying day 4 test tickets these days? #cricket
