The craziest part is… he adapted to his personnel and has run what’s best for his team.. what a wild thought.

From a coaches perspective, I understand it because the issues they have, SEEM easy to correct but here we are, at the end of the regular season now & they continuously have the same issues week in & week out. Just scrap it, man.

Yeah, run games still a mess. Don’t have any faith it gets fixed at this point. OC doesn’t understand personnel, C-RT gets no push, saquon has been dancing a bunch… just too many things to overcome this deep in the year.. Defense will continue to keep them alive every week though.

They opened up the pass game entirely to the point where it was a brand fricken new offense almost… they still kept staples they’ll run till the end of time but switching on the fly like that is a decision that’s made to appease the media not the QB.

I’ve said it more than I can remember but Nick & his values of offense and how he likes to structure the pass game is such a God awful fit for Jalen & what he does & doesn’t do well.
If this is what you want him to run… where are the reps of it? What did you do in TC… etc….

I still think BJ was a scapegoat… at the very worst he was still 2x better than KP. Agree with you though. I loved 3 of the 4 hires.

Yup. For me, it’s blatantly obvious to see. He was always a better north south runner but he could still routinely a few times a game, outrun edges & backers to the edge if they crashed. Herbert looked like Usain Bolt compared to him last night.

The run game scheme sucks, we all know that but it’s also really hard to run against heavy boxes without a QB to hold the edge from crashing, with a RB that has no urgency to get a few yards and fall forward(most of the time) and without a passing game that that push them out of heavy boxes and

Yeah it’s crazy. I don’t know how they didn’t see this coming… the guy was on your staff for 5 years but never good enough to ever be a OC before this season when they had no other options? Sure.

His scrambling is what his game was predicated off of… why would he be any less confident in it, if he was the same athlete? It’s just not the case. Herbert looked like a 4.3 athlete compared to Jalen last night.

Some hard coaching is needed. I’m all for it. I just wonder how the FO feels. Will be an interesting offseason
