Kinda shorter than the other ones, (like you could beat this in weekend if you only barrelled through the story) but it was kinda neat to have some context for the story that what ran parallel alongside Yakuza 7. But damn that ending caught me off guard a bit 🥲

I've been holding on to these fortunes for a bit, but August basically had work fall through for me. The past week I've been dealing with some mild shoulder aches, and this weird knot in my gut feels like it came back. Knowing my bad luck, I'll probably be hospitalized by the end of November 😹

He's also holding open the hatches to his chest, which houses four Dive Missiles. Three other dive missiles are "flying" around the water their, while some mines are floating near. (1/2) Yakuza 7 scratched the RPG fix I needed for a long while. It was fun to see it handle the series' brawler elements in turn based style, and keep everything else ground in the same way (fighting drunk salary men, job classes being actual jobs). Few surprises too!

Like a Dragon Gaiden is next!
I can't remember the last time an end game dungeon kicked my ass this hard.

A peak behind the curtain:

I based this off an illustration I liked done by Turkish comic artist Gürcan Gürsel. Better known for his humorous adult comics, he also did work for MAD magazines' Turkish edition.

Data's hat had two designs at first. See the ALT text for details!

Data's hat first pass: A crude pun on the Volnutt surname. The kind of hat you'd find at Spencer's Gifts (if you're born after 2000, go ask your parents), or a boardwalk gift shop. Data's 2nd hat pass: I over designed a fake Step Brothers "Catalina Island Wine Mixer" log in parody of Mega Man Legend's Kattlelox Island, but realize that it's probably gonna be very small to see when printed, so I went with a simple version in the main post
