Now playing: The Trimdon Grange Explosion’s self titled debut from 2018. A fantastic album, especially their version of the traditional ‘The Bonnie Banks of Fordie’ which is easily in my top five folk-rock songs

RIP Martin Parr. Loved his work. I always thought this one would make a brilliant album cover (Pant Shrapnel was a terribly named band that nearly existed)

Now playing: digging out some rather nice psych folk I’ve not listened to in an age - The Glittering Fishes Were Stars by April in the Orange (US, self-released, 2011 with a hand-decorated sleeve). Can’t find anything about them online other than a couple of copies for sale on Discogs and eBay
